About this class This three-day instructor-led intensive course provides the knowledge and skills necessary for SMS specialists to plan and deploy Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 into large enterprise environments. Who will the lesson benefit? This course is intended for systems engineers with one to three years of experience supporting multiple desktop and server computers running Microsoft Windows in medium to large enterprise organizations, and who have a need to plan an SMS deployment. Examination details No Microsoft Certification exams are associated with this course currently. What prerequisites are required Before attending this course, students must have: - Completed Course 2596, Managing Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003, or have equivalent knowledge
- Completed Course 2279, Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows ServerT 2003 Active Directory(R) Infrastructure, or have equivalent knowledge
- Knowledge of IP addressing. This is covered in Course 2151, Microsoft Windows 2000 Network and Operating System Essentials
- Knowledge of Windows 2003 core technologies. This is covered in Course 2273, Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment.
- Knowledge of Windows 2003 networking technologies and implementation.
