About this class

Server fundamentals focuses on the use of service information resources to locate and identify server components, the installation and utilisation of HP SIM agents in system management, and configuration and use of iLO and iLO2 Lights Out technology

Who will the lesson benefit?

This course is designed for students who have the required certifications or equivalent knowledge and experience. It is intended for first and second level support professionals who are responsible for servicing and supporting HP ProLiant Server products

What delegates will learn

Develops the skills and knowledge needed to service and support ProLiant Server products. Introduces, Service Information resources, System Management utilisation, and configuration and use of Lights-Out technology

What prerequisites are required

Course S625 - CompTIA Server+ or the HP course 36939 - Industry Standard Architecture and Technology exam HP2-T11

Lab exercises provide the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience with HP ProLiant server products and tools. Activities include:
