About this class Immersion Training in IBM Maximo 6 (for IT) provides the basic knowledge and skills needed by client teams to implement the Asset Lifecycle, Inventory, Procurement, and Service Desk capabilities of IBM Maximo to maximise revenue generation, improve service availability, mitigate risks, and enhance legal compliance for your organisation. What prerequisites are required Navigation & Querying in IBM Maximo 6 or demonstrable working experience with MAXIMO 5.x or greater. Contents of this class - IBM Maximo, configuration, and implementation overviews
- Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) within IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) overview
- Setting up organisations and sites
- Creating classifications and defining their attributes
- Setting up and applying general ledger configurations
- Creating locations
- Entering labor and registering users
- Create IT item masters and records and apply standard configurations (item assembly structures)
- Entering asset records
- Process service requests through the service management lifecycle (incident, problem, change, and release)
- Creating and processing POs for IT throughout the procurement lifecycle (requesting, purchasing/leasing, receiving, paying)
- Deployment and reconciliation of IT assets
- Automating the business process using Workflow
