About this class

This is an advanced five-day course on implementing Cisco Voice Gateways in Enterprise or Service Provider environments. The aim of the course is to provide delegates with information and practice activities to prepare them to install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot Cisco voice gateways and gatekeepers in Enterprise installations, in accordance with the recommendations of Cisco's Solution Reference Design (SRND) for IP Telephony guides.

The examination for this course assesses the knowledge of the Systems Engineers on the implementation of Cisco gateways and gatekeepers to integrate a VoIP network to both PSTN and TDM equipment. This includes implementing dial plans and advanced gateway features such as SRST and DSP farms, The exam also covers implementing gatekeepers and directory gatekeepers to provide hierarchical dial plan resolution and call admission control.
