About this class

This course uses Rational RequisitePro, Rational's tool for capturing and managing the changing requirements of a project. You gain an understanding of Rational RequisitePro's project structure and use the tool to apply software development best practices as recommended in the Rational Unified Process. You define document and requirement types, define requirements and attributes, create Rational RequisitePro documents, import project data, explore hierarchical relationships and examine traceability.

Hands-on exercises are used to enhance concepts presented in the Rational Requirements Management with Use Cases course. The computer laboratories guide you through building and adding data to a class project. Laboratories completed in class focus on applying the tool in a work environment.
