About this class This five-day course covers the operational basics and concepts of the OpenView Operations (OVO) product including the JavaTM console, message sources and log files, threshold monitors, the message interceptor and administration and configuration of the product. The course is five days in duration, 60% lecture 40% lab. Who will the lesson benefit? This course should be taken by system and network administrators, and consultants. It may be useful to system architects, integrators and planners. What delegates will learn After completing this course the student should be able to: - Use the OVO operator interface

What prerequisites are required - Fundamentals of the UNIX system (51434S) or equivalent experience
- HP-UX System & Network Admin. I (H3064S) or equivalent experience
- POSIX Shell Programming (H5888S) or equivalent experience
